Prehospital Delivery and Stabilization of Newborn Infants
Conference Goal
To promote the professional development of prehospital providers, conference participants will rotate through several small group sessions to simulate delivery and stabilization of newborn infants in the field.

Learning Objectives
- Identify risk factors and available resources for an imminent delivery in the field
- Demonstrate how to perform an uncomplicated vaginal delivery and the initial management of common delivery complications
- Demonstrate the steps to stabilize a newborn in the field during the golden minute of life
- Develop skills to train pre-hospital colleagues on newborn delivery and stabilization

Training the Trainers: A Regional Conference for NRP Instructors
Conference Goal
To promote the professional development of Instructors of the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), conference attendees will participate in a combination of didactic teaching and small group, hands-on workshops on current and emerging topics on neonatal resuscitation.
Learners
Nurses, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists and physicians who are certified NRP Instructors or Instructor candidates
Learning Objectives
- Describe the evidence that support current NRP recommendations for the stabilization and resuscitation of neonates
- Develop strategies in simulation and debriefing to facilitate learning amongst learners during NRP Provider courses
