About Me
Throughout his career, Dr. Schneider has held a variety of professional positions and appointments, and has received numerous honors and awards. Among his most recent honors, he was named as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians in 2000. Currently, in addition to his medical practice and teaching commitments, Dr. Schneider serves as the Administrative Site Medical Director for the Olsan Medical Group. He, additionally, chairs the Site Director's Council of the URMC Primary Care Network. He presently serves on the Alumni Council of the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.
His community interests extend to chairing the Preferred Health Network of Preferred Care and as a board member of MVP Health Inc.

I've seen Dr Schneider since 1981. 7years ago I moved to a town 30 miles south of [...] and drive the 90 miles back to [...] to stay in his care. I am a disabled medical lab. Tech. So I'm fussy but the truth is I respect his ability and appreciate his humanity. When I was a teen I had some traumatically bad medicalCare. I have every reason to believe my best health is the best interest of my physician.

I had symptoms of a sinus infection and called my PCP's office in the morning [...] and requested an appointment. My PCP is Dr Anthony Sousou, however, he was not working that day. I was scheduled to meet with Dr Schneider at 1:00 the same day. He was professional, welcoming and supportive during our appointment. He examined me and determined I did have a sinus infection and prescribed an antibiotic. He was very thorough and indicated he had reviewed my medical record prior to our appointment.

When my BMD is low, Dr. Schneider referred an osteoporosis specialist for me in time, at the same time, he also answered my all questions patiently about diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis; When I suffered from pink eye, the eye drop did not work well, I contacted with him, he switched it to eye ointment, which cured my pink eye completely. I really appreciate what he did for me.

I saw Dr Sharma and then Dr Schneider in this appointment. I was disappointed I couldn't speak directly with Dr Schneider .. As I made the appointment to receive assurance from him to lower my anxiety regarding some changes I had been experiencing. Dr Schneider never fails to assure me that things are good and that I should not worry about changes [...] have brought to the table. If Dr Schneider tells me not to worry, that is all I need.
