Teaching medical students and residents...
Teaching medical students and residents encompasses about 10% of my time, both in the office and at the medical school.
My hometown is Endwell, New York. My wife and two daughters have lived in Irondequoit for the past 20 years.
Personal interests include running (completed the Boston Marathon), backpacking, fly fishing, kayaking, and skiing.

Dr. Morris is retiring and I don't think he is replaceable. We have been through a lot together in trying to help my fibromyalgia and I never felt he was giving up or tired of me looking for a soft place to fall. My husband and I have been fortunate to have him for our primary care physician. We will miss him.

I'm sorry that Dr. Geoffrey Morris is retiring, but he is leaving me in good hands with Dr. Megan Cox. The Pulsiver office is the greatest and I'd never want to leave it. I've had just a few internists during my 87 years and Dr. Morris stands out as my favorite. I expect to feel similarly to Dr. Cox.

If I ask for an explanation not only does he give one but he uses his computer to further explain things to me so I can understand. He is a true asset to URMC.

I know things are on a schedule, I feel there is never enough time to cover things properly, and instead go over the worst symptoms, and put off the other issues for some other time when it's more convenient.

When getting a complete physical, I think getting a health type questionnaire with things that you could check off , and write in questions for the doctor ( preferably a month before appointment) With a copy going to your doctor as well as keeping one for yourself. That would give him time to prep, and both doctor and patient could go over it together so as nothing gets missed.

Dr. Morris is excellent. He has a scientific approach based in data, when dealing with my health problems and concerns. I also strong believe in data and statistics, which makes all my visits very enjoyable. I wish more doctors were like him. When recommending a prescription we always analyze together at the appointment, the pros and cons of such direction. I have enough knowledge in biology and chemistry that allows me to have a fruitful conversation with Dr. Morris.

My husband was in ventricular rapid fibrillation, which would have led to his death if Dr. Morris had not seen us quickly, and sent us to Strong for care, and subsequent pacemaker surgery. He was outstanding in his care, as was the nurse working with him, who researched my husband's health history for him. Dr Dobrzynski has always provided excellent care for [...], but was not in the office Friday afternoon. All his associates stepped up and saved [...] life. We are so grateful for the outstanding response.

Never let him go!!! He is caring, knowledgeable and curious. Although I hadn't called him in the last 3 months, I did email him from outside the country. I was in a situation where I did not have free phone calls back to the US, nor did my medical insurance cover me outside the country and I am not bilingual in a country where I needed to be in case of an urgent medical ER visit. Dr. Morris was quick to respond and offer help. As he does, always.

I normally see Dr Megan Terwilliger, as she is my assigned PCP - she was unavailable for a last minute sick appt and I was so appreciate that another physician In the practice, Dr Morris, was able to get me in for an appt the same day. Dr Morris had clearly reviewed my medical history and was also very thorough in his explanations of my current illness.

[...] There is less and less human contact with office staff as it is all done via computer, so no contact there. The PPC was pleasant to a point, but did not think my problem warranted being there and seemed to give in to the x ray, but no real interest in the problem and did not follow up to give any info about the x ray other than what I read on mychart from the xray doc. I have now seen 3 doctors from this practice and 2 of them do not make me want to return.

Dr Morris. The issue of b reaching has been researched e cheddar by morris since spring 2019. He has ordered every test xray, lab etc etc even low level cat screening on going. Problem continued. Happened jn January again Geoff has to have researched this and consulted extensively since 1, 2022.. So it Happened again. This time he finally defined the, real, Problem. With complete diagnosis and totally different treatment. This took enormous c work and analysis of his own deduction as all tests did not indicate what was really going on. New treatment is changing my life and emotional state and quality of life. Each day it gets better we will follow up on 5/10/22. Now how is that for WOW?
