Without fail, Dr. Allen is a superb physician who inspires tremendous confidence. She is a wonderful listener who shows real interest in my well-being. Attentive but never overbearing, she allows me time and opportunity to express my concerns and makes a point to address each one of them as thoroughly as possible. She suggests a range of remedies, including holistic/non-Rx solutions, and is genuinely focused on making a personal "connection" (which is truly a rare and undervalued skill among medical professionals). She never makes me feel rushed, and she never dismisses any of my concerns or questions. I feel truly lucky to be in the hands of such a skilled internist, whose opinions I value and respect. Especially for women "of a certain age," it is vital to have a medical professional who listens, cares, and communicates so effectively. So I feel doubly fortunate.
