Dr. Rebeca Monk is THE BEST! She has been my nephrologist for 21 years since my diagnosis of [...] kidney disease. I cannot say enough good things about her. She answered a call from my PCP on a Friday 21 years ago who had determined through my blood tests that I was in kidney failure and Dr. Monk agreed to see me. She arranged for a kidney biopsy at about 4:30 pm on that same day. The correct diagnosis allowed me to be treated immediately and I truly believe her actions and decisions for me that day saved me from needing permanent dialysis and ultimately her care got me to a point 21 years later where my GFR is almost at a normal level for someone my age. She is intelligent, just plain likeable and I have always trusted her totally. She advises me of new findings and medications that may be helpful for me at some time. Again, THE BEST!

Dr. Monk is excellent, never had a better doctor.

Dr Monk has reassured me all along my journey and has guided me. She is a super star. I trust her knowledge and her ability to listen to my concerns and treat me in the manner that best suits me. More doctors should be willing to let patients know what the entire picture is moving forward.

Dr Monk is one of the strongest members of my health team and we rely on her greatly. Her explanations are thoughtful, thorough, and to the point. She clearly knows us and our situation and her interactions are definitely aimed at our specific situation.
