I highly appreciate that I have a consistent PCP. He is very thorough and patient. Dr. Nunno is a master at providing information for cost-effective care, and I appreciate that greatly. Right now, one of my health concerns is actually a newly diagnosed potentially fatal and rare condition for my husband, who is also Dr. Nunno's patient. Discussion and management of that is happening with subspecialists and Dr. Nunno was not responsive to my stated concerns in that regard.

Dr Patrick Nunno CONSTANTLY and CONSISTENTLY goes above and beyond when it comes to care and communication. Dr Nunno is the Primary Care Provider for both me and my parents, and all three of us regularly use the MyChart messaging system to contact him whenever we have questions or concerns. I don't think it has EVER taken Dr Nunno more than 24 hours to respond to a message, even if that message was sent at night, on a weekend, or over Christmas holidays. There is no way any patient could reasonably expect this kind of service, but Dr Nunno does, and he does it consistently.

I SO wish Dr Nunno was more understanding. He views my health concerns in black & white only, not allowing any room for my thoughts / feelings, which may be good, sad or in-between. Rather than address my concerns thoughtfully, he will only correct my misunderstandings like a drill sergeant, in essence, telling me it's his way & anything else is unacceptable. Ex, Covid shots. I'm unsure about getting boosters. Dr Nunno lectured me on this, to the point of scolding me like a high school student. When Dr Nunno doesn't see 100% compliance with his views his demeanor becomes even less understanding. Unfortunately, that demeanor continues for the rest of that office visit. I'm already dealing with day to day pain that's taking a toll on me. I just wish I could discuss that major issue with a doctor that's understanding.I really hope this helps & things can be better.
