I didn't feel the doctor had much concern for me. At the end of an issue, he would make me feel he was trying to rush the end of the call. Commenting, well, I'll see you in another six months. I kept on saying I had another issue to discuss. Instead of him asking me did I have any other concerns.

Dr. Wilmot is a fine care provider. I wish that the computer was not such a focus during my time with him. [...] Eye contact is reduced and the sense of connection is negatively affected. It hinders my sense of being able to discuss topics with him. I do choose to discuss issues with him, but the onus is on me to make the effort. I worry that for people with less education or confidence this might impact the care they receive.

This is the first time I saw this doctor. I am an anxious person and he didn't really talk to me about what was possibly going on. He ordered tests but didn't say what he is looking for. So until I have the test and get the results I automatically will think the worst is happening. That's a lot of stress which I think he could have relieved had he spent some time talking to me.
