Dr. Swanger is incredibly knowlegable and I prefer to seek his opinion and care vs. Having to ever see another "specialist". As his patient for over 30 years, I appreciate that if he was unsure of treatment or health issue. He would look into it and get back to me. He cares for his patients and will make a call or email to check on patients health.

Dr. Carlos Swanger should be recognized for his decades long continued intelligent and empathetic care of his patients. However, he more than deserves a special recognition for his medical care of me for over 30 years when my pediatrician handed me my medical file folder to find a doctor now that I am an adult. I picked Dr. Swanger [...] and at my first appt, I handed him my medical file folder with tears in my eyes and he assured me that all paperwork will be entered into their system and he will take excellent care of me as well. [...] Thank you Dr. Swanger - no other doctor or specialist even comes close to your medical knowledge care and concern for all. I agree that I am a bit of work with a touch of separation anxiety. He had taken through all these years anytime I did have to see specialist, he agrees to advise each of all notes, discussions are to go directly to Dr. Swanger only. [...] He is so nice to do this but he figures its the only way he will be sure I return to specialists appointments.

Dr. Swanger has been an excellent doctor and have been a patient of him for years. He once wanted to redo an X-ray which they had taken in the hospital after I had a stroke. He saw something he did not like. It turned out to be a life saver, I had multiple bloodclots in my lungs and back to the hospital I went that same day. I feel and my family feel very comfortable with being Dr. Swangers patients.

Dr. Swanger is not my regular doctor he was covering for my regular PCP when I needed to see him. He studied my records asked lots of questions, listened and recommended a course of action and followed up. I could not have asked for anything more or anyone better than Dr. Swanger. It's too bad I'm happy with my PCP because if I wasn't I would choose Dr. Swanger in a heartbeat!

Dr Swanger has been my primary care Dr. For over 20 years and he saved my life by finding an abnormally in my heart witch indicated that I needed a aortic valve replacement. At the same time aanurism was found on my aorita and patched before It ruptured.

Went on for almost a month. Called Dr Swanger. Went in right away. He did EKG & found something wrong. He called my cardiologist right away & sent him EKG. About week later I had triple bi pass.
