Dr. Johnson is the Ralph W. Prince Professor of Medicine. He is in active clinical practice at Eastside Internal Medicine in Fairport where he also teaches medial students and internal medicine resident physicians. Dr. Johnson was Associate Chair for Primary Care in the Department of Medicine from 2003 to 2023 and directed the UR Medicine Primary Care Network from 2008 through 2023. He chaired the Council of the Medical Staff at Strong Memorial Hospital for a number of years and is a Board member and the former Board Chair of Accountable Health Partners, LLC. He also served for many years as a member of the Boards of Directors of the Genesee Valley Medical Foundation, UR Medicine Home Care and the Monroe County Medical Society.
