Deb Pierce, MD, MPH, first came to Rochester from Worcester, Massachusetts, for residency training in June, 1992. Deb Pierce, MD, MPH, first came to Rochester from Worcester, Massachusetts, for residency training in June, 1992. Upon completion of her residency, she returned to Massachusetts, where she was on faculty at the rural training site for the University of Massachusetts. After three years, however, the "Rochester magnet" effect kicked in, and she happily returned.

She is an avid amateur photographer who vigorously avoids the other side of the lens. In her spare time she can be often found exploring local (and national!) parks with her camera, or home with her three cats.

Upon completion of her residency, she returned to Massachusetts, where she was on faculty at the rural training site for the University of Massachusetts.
