My personal vision is to create a healthcare system that is effective, person-centered, kind, thorough, and efficient; the type and quality of care I would want for myself or my loved ones. I do this through medical education, direct clinical practice, research, administration, and dissemination programs. We can not possibly cure every disease or solve every problem, but we can always be humane, diligent, and try to do the right thing for each person.
