I focus on inpatient pediatric nephrology for my clinical time, treating patients with severe kidney disease and assisting with the management of fluid and electrolytes in hospitalized patients. As medical director of 7S (one of the inpatient units in Golisano Children’s Hospital), I work with the nurse manager to improve the safety and satisfaction of patients and for staff. As the Associate Director for the Pediatrics Clerkship, I assist in the coordination and education of the medical students as they rotate through Pediatrics. In my role as Director of Pediatric Ambulatory Quality I am working with ambulatory leaders to build an ambulatory QI structure.
