Dr. Wolff always kindly checks in via messaging on MYCHART to see how I am responding to treatment and doing after I have seen him when I am sick, and is always prepared for a visit. During a visit, not all doctors can get their documentation done and appear to be listening and responding at the same time-he can and is very organized and detail-oriented. My concern for making the appointment was I had a very sore throat that wasn't going away as well as a sore on my tongue. At my age I'm concerned about throat cancer. I was tested for strepThroat which tested negative. The doctor never mentioned anything else about my throat. I never mentioned my concern about throat cancer but probably should have. The sore on my tongue was an ulcer similar to a canker sore per the doctor.

Dr Wolff is direct and to the point, As an engineer I like this approach and it suits me fine. I think he is very proactive and really orders tests and follow ups to catch any issues early. He has referred me several times to specialists and they were all very good.

Lack of clarity on doctors part . I was told this was a wellness checkup ,next thing I knew it was also combined as a physical . Someone needs to make up their mind and be more precise as to why i'm there.. Its never been done that way in the past ! What made it uncomfortable was I was asked [and agreed ]to allow a student to sit in not knowing I was going to be asked to expose myself . That won't happen again !

[...] I had a rash which had appeared inexplicably on my torso. Dr. Wolff's staff got me in to see him the morning after I contacted him - I contacted him on [...] and went in the morning of [...]. Dr. Wolff figured out what had most likely caused the rash and started me right away on Prednisone. He also said I should return for a follow-up appointment in one week, on [...]. This shows me that he takes my concerns seriously, that he figures them out and proposes a solution (which I've never known to fail), and that he follows through to make sure the solution proposed was effective.

Tanya is very good at her job and the desk staff followed up after the appointment w a phone call right away that they asked Dr Wolff a question for me that I had forgotten to during the appointment.Dr Wolff is a very good listener and obviously reviewed my record prior to the appointment and was prepared to discuss concerns he wanted to review with me- he is very good at keeping involved and listening while still having to interface with the computer. Dr Wolff seems to act like he cares more about any questions or issues I have than he used to in years past but he just isn't the friendliest person. I don't feel terribly comfortable asking him questions because he either appears to think it's not important or weird-like he's answering it but thinks I'm stupid for asking it. Other patients have said the same thing.
