I am 75 years old. I can remember when a physician came to our house with a black bag and gave the whole 3 generations of our family a going over. Those days are long gone. #1 Ask patient if they have brought any concerns to the annual physical appointment. Their labs may be acceptable to perfect. But patients likely have minor issues that they were holding until that upcoming appointment to ask about. They might not view the items as serious enough for an emergent visit, but their concerns should be listened to at their annual physical. Then their issue should be addressed or eliminated after an appropriate review.

He's friendly, easy-going. He reviewed lab results positively. Annual physical exams seem to get briefer and more superficial.He never inquired if I had brought any concerns to ask him about. No open floor for comments from patient. When one concern was raised, he minimized it. Didn't pursue it. It might have been minor to him, but he offered no curiosity about checking it.

He took the time I needed and was there for me when I needed it most. At that moment I was feeling the most alone in life I had ever felt and he was there for me. Definitely helped me through a difficult health scare and for that I will never be abl to thank him enough

Nurse Katelyn Olson was very kind in calling me the next day to see how I was feeling and offered to schedule a home visit for a blood draw as with the sore I'm not able to wear my prosthetic and walk. She also spoke to Dr. Gasparino to provide additional things that might help heal the sore. Dr. Gasparino was very personable, understanding and took whatever time was needed to care for me - I never felt rushed or that he wasn't listening.
