Dr. Ferrintino is not my regular doctor but when I had trouble breathing she saw me quickly. She diagnosed pulmonary embolisms immediately and sent me to emergency. She called ahead to speed things up. This is a life threatening problem and her actions made a big difference. She is a hero.

Three months ago I had an unexpected serious illness and contacted Dr. Ferrantino. Dr. Ferrantino immediately found time in her schedule, and after examining me, immediately contacted the appropriate specialist, Dr. Montgomery, and had me in his office within a few minutes. Dr. Montgomery immediately arranged the appropriate care at Strong. The care, concern, and speed on the part of both doctors could not have been better.

She is very patient with me, consistently knows and asks about recent changes in my mental health (I have a chronic mental illness), she's kind and very comfortable to be with. Dr. Ferrantino has always been thorough, competent, professional and accessible. However, I do sense that she has more time pressure now. I'm sure her practice has grown since I have had her as a primary care physician, and deservedly so. I do hope that in general, physicians do not become so pressured under new demands that patient care suffers, because feeling taken care of is as important as the standard of technical mediical care.

The initial nurse who met with me (something like Shawnie was her name) she was so kind and helpful. The doctor spent extra time with me to talk through both my test results and my concerns. I felt heard. The second nurse who gave me both shots - again it was a mix of high quality care and warmth and recognition of the human element.

When we were working on determining the best meds to take she would quickly reply to my emails at night and on the weekends. I was so thankful for all her help and hard work to help me stay healthy.

Dr Ferrantino was excellent and quickly establish a good rapport on our first-ever meeting, asking insightful questions and probing for answers about medical history, family medical history and took plenty of time to get acquainted.Gigi in reception was also friendly and helpful, both over the phone and in person at the office.
