Dr. McLanahan is one of the reasons I stay in the area. I can live anywhere in the us with my job, but it is so hard to find good health care these days. He's a rare breed of doctors. He's always been personable, and spends time chatting about my interests. And, he's always showed enthusiasm answering my questions and explaining things to me. The day he no longer works for strong is the day I move out of state.

I had a cut to my leg. I couldn't get into the u of r wound center for 8 days so Dr. McLanahan took care of the cut. He provided tetanus and antibiotics and cleaned the wound. When I finally got an appt at the wound center they said he did a very good job starting the healing process. Very impressed with his skills and attention to my health needs

Dr. Andrew McLanahann gets 5 stars (out of 5) for being the best doctor I have EVER had in my 72 years of life. He takes the time to listen to my concerns and always makes me feel better after I leave my appointment because he explains things that I can understand and always has solutions to my health concerns. He seems to know me well and my ailments so that when I go for an appointment, I don't have to repeat anything because apparently he studied my chart before he came in to visit me or he has an amazing memory. I also like his secretary, Nicole, because she always gets back to me, making appointments for tests, etc. She is always friendly and very efficient. I also like his nurse (I can never remember her name), but she is sweet and efficient and I enjoy her company.

Dr. McLanahan is friendly and approachable. My boys are at ease when they go to his office. He explains what and why he is doing something during the exams. He has young children so he understands different phases of emotional and physical development and can "empathize" with you! He is also sensitive and discreet about discussing concerns in front of the boys. We love him.

I have never felt rushed during my appointments. He is a hard worker and should be recongnized for everything he does. He probably does not feel he goes above and beyond but I feel he does. I am lucky to have him as my doctor.

Dr. McLanhan has been amazing since day 1 and we are so grateful for him! All of the nurses have been wonderful, we have had Shelby more than others and we couldn't be happier.

Dr. McLanahan is exceptional and will do whatever he can to help me with my medical conditions. He is caring and very compassionate. Nicole is the staff person I go to for any questions I have for the Doctor and she always has an answer for me the same day.

Dr. McLanahan is the best doctor I have seen in my 71 years. I trust that he is giving me the best care possible. He explains and shows diagrams of what my ailments are in very easy terms. He is never rushed with my appointment. He listens to all my concerns and addresses them. His personality is enjoyable.
