Ratings & Comments

At URMC, we believe that patients should be empowered to make the right decisions regarding their personal healthcare. To do so, transparency is critical. URMC partners with Press Ganey, to survey our patients about all aspects of their care experience. We are now putting this pertinent information at your fingertips by displaying star ratings for our providers along with anonymous patient comments on our website. This will help you make better-informed choices about how and with whom you seek care. Click here to learn more about the surveys used to generate this vital information. I was surprised when reviewing the "clinical notes" summary on My Chart that the doctor stated discussing care recommendations (under Assessment & Plan) that he did not discuss with me during my appointment. [...] Not a big deal, as it was a minor issue, but in a more serious situation could be concerning. He did listen to my question regarding adding an antibiotic, and did so after further discussion which I did appreciate.

Dr Hartman is invaluable In helping me manage my teens complex medical needs. He Is sensitive to the problems of both chronic illness and teen's mental health challenges. He listens and is supportive and also knowledgeable. He also never dismisses our concerns or difficulties. I hope URMC knows what a good doctor he is.
