About Me

Jenny Y. Shen M.D. graduated in 2004 from State University of New York College at Fredonia, with a BS in Molecular Genetics with a Chemistry and Sociology minor. She did research in the field of biochemistry at the University of Rochester Medical Center for 2 years. She then went on to earn her med...
Jenny Y. Shen M.D. graduated in 2004 from State University of New York College at Fredonia, with a BS in Molecular Genetics with a Chemistry and Sociology minor. She did research in the field of biochemistry at the University of Rochester Medical Center for 2 years. She then went on to earn her medical degree in 2010 from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Shen returned to the University of Rochester for her training in Internal Medicine at Strong Memorial Hospital. At the completion of her training, she decided to remain on staff and joined the division of Hospital Medicine in 2013. In her free time she enjoys music including singing and playing the piano. She is also fluent in Mandarin.
