Completed fellowships in oral medicine, dentoalveolar surgery, and oral and maxillofacial surgery. Postdoctoral studies in Forensic Science and Biochemistry as a Japanese Government Scholar. MSBA degree in Medical Management. Conducted cell biology research using gene therapy at the Center for Oral Biology URMC. Assistant Professor at the Specialty Care Clinic, Department of Dentistry with clinical responsibilities and supervise care for special needs and older adults with complex medical-social-psychological issues. Providing comprehensive dental treatment (restorative, prosthetics) for patients and supervises GME dental residents during their 3-months rotations. Provided direct clinical supervision and teaching for 15 dental residents at the URMC Complex Care Center and over 70 dental AEGD and GME residents at the Specialty Care in the last four years. Teaching experience in research and clinical education including a geriatrics-oriented project for the 2021 URMC Dean’s Teaching Fellowship.The project is pioneering nationally by integrating the Age-Friendly Health System (AFHS) principles via flipped classroom e-learning structure into dental training. Long-term career plan to incorporate a novel concept of AFHS into the dental care of older adults. Based on the awarded 2020 URMC Geriatric Scholarship to initiate the 4Ms based (what matter, mentation, mobility, medication) age-friendly dental care in Specialty Care.

Received training in general dentistry and in dento-alveolar surgery in Hungary, then completed PhD course in forensic dentistry in Japan. Post-doctoral research fellowship research on the fields of tooth regeneration and salivary gland biology. Laboratory skills include gene and protein expression analysis, microscope imaging techniques, performance of relevant in vivo procedures: salivary gland cannulation and retroductal injection technique (training at NIDCR), regeneration experiments (ductal ligation operation, in vivo irradiation), scaffold-progenitor implantation (training in Japan). Experience with 3 dimensional tissue engineering systems.
Research involved specific progenitor cell populations for salivary gland regeneration purposes using both in vitro and in vivo models, and a translational approach by siRNA applications for gene therapy into radiation-damaged salivary glands. Scientific goal: to combine basic and translational research developments into new, innovative treatment options for clinical trials.
