Dr. Alexander is board certified in Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the New York State Academy of Family Physicians.
He enjoys treating patients throughout each stage in life. He believes it is particularly rewarding to care for several generations of the same family. Dr. Alexander treats his patients as unique individuals using an approach that incorporates the best of traditional medicine practices, integrating mind/body medicine, and research-supported alternative therapies, as needed.

Dr. A responded to my concerns about side effects by reducing one medication dosage to try it out. He explained the results of a recent ortho clinic assessment for osteoporosis, and recommended an action plan to gather additional information about a bladder issue. A lot accomplished in one appointment, but I appreciated his thoroughness.

I did not feel like a valued patient/customer as although I have been seeing this provider for awhile now and I halso have my son going to him, I'm not feeling like he's a compassionate or caring type of individuals. I need a health care provide (as I get older) that when I call, will return my call and if I request to speak with him directly, at least give me that courtesy, especially if I am very ill and had a very high fever due to the flu. Dr. Alexander is [...] unwilling to compromise and talks down to patients. He had me come in every 3 months [...] for him to spend less than 10 min. with me and tell me that I need to lose weight without going over any of my noted medical conditions. I learned that I would get no useful info, so I stopped asking questions. Last appointment ended in an argument, where he told me if I wasn't happy with my care I could to elsewhere.

I have no complaints or concerns with the care I've received from Dr. Alexander and the staff. I have been completely satisfied with their acumen, professionalism and courtesy.

Dr. Alexander always takes time to make sure he understands his patients' needs. He also makes sure he answers any questions they might have. I feel very lucky to have him as my primary care doctor, and I know my husband feels the same way. It's hard to be thorough with the short amount of time doctors have with each patient these days, but somehow Dr. Alexander manages to do so.

Dr. Alexander is my Primary Family Physician. He is always well prepared for my visits. He has always reviewed my URMC notes from specialists that I also see for my medical issues. He is patient and professional and gives me his medical advise . The nurses that are assigned to this practice are always very professional and friendly.
