Dr. Patel received his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his Family Medicine residency at Stamford Hospital, an affiliate of Columbia University in Stamford, Connecticut.

Dr. Patel received his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his Family Medicine residency at Stamford Hospital, an affiliate of Columbia University in Stamford, Connecticut.

Dr. Patel approaches medicine with an understanding that a person's health is not only physical, but includes a strong emotional aspect as well. He strives to be compassionate, understanding and attentive to his patients. Dr. Patel believes that the most important aspect of medicine is listening to better understand and know his patients beyond the physical component.

He has special interests in sports medicine, child and adolescent health, geriatrics and women's health.

On a personal note, Dr. Patel enjoys activities such as biking, exercising, traveling, cooking and photography.

I thought Patel showed no interest in helping me. [...] He didn't mention the issue I came in for until I made him check it and once he did he looked for 5 seconds [...]. I spent more time with the nurse than him on my visit. I plan on finding a new provider
