I came in with a lot of questions. I had been unable to get an appointment in a reasonable time from another provider and had called for advise of what to doPA in Dr. Newman's office called with questions to pass on to Dr. Newman.. And I was given an appointment within 2days. I was thankful that the team worked so well together, and Dr. Newman is being aggressive in figuring out what is going on with me.

Never had a bad experience. Dr Newman use to manage all my health concerns when I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia after my car accident back in 1994. I was already suffering from depression and anxiety. When I got Fibromyalgia it excerbated myWhich Included the conitive issues (fog brain), pain and IBS. She wrote up referrals when I needed them for my Fibromyalgia. [...] Back in 2019 I had a breakdown and Dr Newman sent me to U OF R Behavioral & Mental Health facilities. [...] Dr. Newman was very helpful with her suggestions. I just need to add them to my diet. [...]

Dr. Valerie Newman is phenomenal and the perfect person to support me in dealing with my complex array of chronic medical conditions. Her knowledge is invaluable for me in coping with the current onslaught of medical issues with which I am dealing. It is difficult to articulate how important she is to my team of physicians. She is the glue, essentially. I wish all doctors had half her internal knowledge base, patience, lack of ego, empathy, and sheer brilliance.

Dr. Newman took over my care earlier in 2023 when my PCP left his practice. She promptly set up an initial screening and meet 'n greet. I had a previously scheduled knee replacement surgery that required her sign-off as my PCP. Dr. Newman was prompt and conscientious in completing the process with the ortho surgeon. She is thorough and always covers all the bases.

Dr. Newman, of course. I am very grateful to be in Dr. Newman's practice - for her expertise, responsiveness, kindness, and helpful explanations. She is an excellent PCP and a lovely person. My nurse, Sharon, was excellent. She was very thorough and shared information about what she was doing that expanded my knowledge and understanding of my care. Darlene at the front desk is always efficient, effective, kind, and helpful. She was especially helpful in getting me the consise version of my lab results that I use to prepare for my appointment. (I have tried to use the MyChart version, but their format does not lend itself to this purpose - quite the contrary.) Ashley got me set up with my next visit and the Summary and Progress Notes. She was kind and patient as I hemmed and hawed about when I could fit an appointment into my crowded schedule. The staff at Artemis is outstanding - always responsive, helpful, and good-natured. I saw Sheila that day as well, but we did not have any interaction other than greeting one another.

Dr. Valerie Newman is wonderful, I feel very blessed to have her as a doctor. She takes care of myself and my husband [...]. He had several health concerns these past 2 years and she always was available for appointments, questions and is very thorough. The office staff is very friendly, I am always able to get in asap for an appointment, I had a infection on my finger and I was unable to go in the office so Dr. Newman scheduled a video visit ASAP and was able to see my finger and prescribe what I needed. They all deserve a 10! Thank you! Awesome doctor and team~

Dr. Newman is an outstanding doctor. I believe I've been with her for 15+ years. I was absolutely devasted when the practice was bought out and she no longer accepted my health insurance. I cried when I told the nurse (who I love), what am I going to do? No one knows me as she does?? Thankfully, a few years later I changed my insurance and without a heartbeat, she took me back as her patient. She is ALWAYS right on top of whatever is needed. She treats me with the highest of respect, listens without rushing or interrupting me, and knows that I advocate for myself. We work like a team. She truly is one of a kind. I pray she practices medicine for a very long time.

Dr. Newman is a phenomenal physician and person. She always finds a way to fit me in for acute situations (like today). I don't know how she does it. She is so caring and helpful. She's an amazing problem-solver. She is good at everything. I feel incredibly fortunate to have her as my primary care provider - especially since I have a complex medical situation. Some PCPs would be daunted by my complex situation. She, however, seems to thrive in the complexity. Her brilliant skill set gets put to the test a lot with my medical situation but she never seems frustrated. She never runs out of ideas or creative approaches. She is truly inspiring. When I might get discouraged in another doctor's hands, I stay hopeful with Dr. Newman because I know I'm in the best hands with her.

She is kind, takes in every word you say without feeling rushed, makes herself available when you need to see or speak to her, and explains everything in detail. If you need a referral, refills on your Rx's, etc...it's done right away. She always goes above and beyond. If I have to wait to see her I don't mind. I know she wants to give every patient time as she never rushes you. I have told her personally that I cannot say enough good things about her.
