joined Clinton Medical Associates in 2005 and has enjoyed working with
her supervising physicians to provide quality and compassionate patient
care. She has special interest in smoking cessation and
nutritional/weight loss guidance to help in the prevention of diabetes.
Molly greatly enjoys her work as a physician assistant along with being
a wife and mother.

I came in with shoulder pain, and specifically wanted a physical therapy referral. Ms. MacLean listened, asked questions and did physical exam to clarify diagnosis/appropriate treatment. She was very helpful, personable, professional. She also explained use of a tape recorder of session and asked consent from me.

Dr. Ferrantino is an amazing and brilliant doctor and although I was not able to schedule with her, I did not hesitate to schedule my physical with Mary MacLean. She was wonderful. I have trust In all of the providers In this practice.

Care related to the problem presented as the reason for the visit was thoroughly addressed. However [...] mentioned burning in his chest while eating and that was not really addressed, our fault for not following up on the question. We will follow up if the problem continues.

I was very happy with her personality and attentiveness. I was considering changing to a different doctors office before this visit but my experience with her for the first time was great. I am going to stay as long as I request her and get to have her as my primary physician in the future. I told a friend how pleased I was with my experience with her especially since I rarely go. In the past I was followed by an MD who was wonderful. He left the practice to go into research. I was seen by him every six months. I was told on visit on [...] that I would only be followed once a year for a physical because I am in very good health now. I was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes a few years ago but have lost weight, follow a good diet and reduced my A1C to 5.5 and all bloodwork is within normal limits. My physical took less than five minutes and did not receive a breast exam. Perhaps because I'm 87 and in good health. My former provider thought it was necessary for me to be followed every six months. I'm a 75% retired RN and agree with that thought.

Molly (Mary) always my current medical records available for review and inquires of any changes. She is current on treating my Lyme as well as my episode with COVID within the last two weeks. She expresses concern for my overall outlook on my health and inquires if my current medications are maintaining their effectiveness. I am very pleased with how Mary is caring for my health.

Ms. Maclean listened to my concerns, reviewed my medical history and prescriptions, made a diagnosis and a recommendation which seems to have the correct one. My condition has improved. She was very professional and had a great deal of confidence. She ordered an xray to eliminate any other diagnosis - the xray thankfully was negative.
