About Me

I have a vast degree of experience as I started working at the age of 16 as a nurse's aide in Florida where I then went to school and became a nurse. After 10 years working in the intensive care unit I received my Nurse Practitioner's License.

I have a vast degree of experience as I started working at the age of 16 as a nurse's aide in Florida where I then went to school and became a nurse. After 10 years working in the intensive care unit I received my Nurse Practitioner's License.
My first position was in Cardiology and I have acquired a love and passion in helping everyone take care of their hearts. I have over 25 years cardiac experience with 40 years in medicine. After moving from Florida to New York to raise our family I started working at URMC in 1999. For about 12 years I worked as inpatient Nurse Practitioner caring for pre and post heart transplant patients and mechanical assist devices. I have since transitioned to outpatient cardiology.

I have a special passion for nutrition and the struggles with weight and trying to change your diet. I believe that both eastern and western medicine can be used to help us in our journey through life. Everyone has their own path, our goal is to treat your heart along with the individual.
