- Consents EP (electrophysiology) patients for cardioversion, pacemaker/ICD device implants and generator change, atrial fibrillation/ atrial flutter/ SVT ablation procedures
- Develops comprehensive plan of care to patients post arrhythmia, PCI procedures and newly diagnosed CAD using evidence-based practice.
- Provides appropriate treatment (medications, diagnostic tests and referrals) to patients post LHC, PCI, arrhythmia ablations, EO device implantations utilizing interdisciplinary team
- Manages pre & post procedure acute episodes of hypo/hyperglycemia, hypo/hypertension, access site bleeding/hematoma, vagal episodes, stroke/ TIA, neuro or visual disturbances, RP bleed or hemodynamic instability.
- Removal of central line venous cath and arterial line
- Admits and discharges patients post cath / EP procedures
