Dr. Gift strives to partner with her patients to provide compassionate and patient-centered care. Her special interests include women's health and caring for people of all ages, from newborn's to older adults.
Dr. Gift enjoys pilates, hiking, and being outdoors. She also likes to read mystery novels, listen to music, and travel with her husband.

I always feel Dr. Gift's sincerity in understanding my situation. She's very knowledgeable and will prescribe a course of action and/or offer suggestions for my care. She also takes time to review all test results with me. I feel Dr. Gift listens to my concerns and is very willing to answer any questions I may have. Upon Checking out Dr. Gift had asked Jeanne to get me an appointment for a ultrasound on my leg to check for a blood clot. It was 4:30 and places were closed however, she was able to get me the appointment. I was so thankful that I did not have to sit in emergency waiting to get one. She was pleasant and wonderful to work with..

Dr. Gift always goes through my medical history with me. She goes over the medication I take, inquires about how I feel, asks if I feel threatened, and inquires about all things that may affect my well-being. She is easy to talk to about anything and you feel her concern for your health. This office has been wonderful in all ways for me. The people working there are always cordial and answer any questions you may have. They greet you in a friendly and professional manner every time you are there. They are all great in my opinion.

I went to see the doctor for a migraine flare up that was quite acute. I have appreciated the care she has given in the past my experience is that I don't go in unless I am ready to take 1 or more prescriptions. I have a BSN in nursing I know that the last visit could have been the result of a hard day. I also know that we can not get better without feedback so it is in that spirit I share. I still have great respect for Dr. Gift. I felt unheard and my concerns dismissed and even my questions about the side effects of the medication I was taking were ignored. My husband was with me because of the severity of the migraine and he too noticed the seeming instance on certain prescription use and disregard for my concerns. I have great respect for Dr. Gift and at the same time I am looking for a new Doctor. I have liked to think that while we may have different preferred approaches to wellness there is mutual respect and willingness to hear and listen. In this case I did not feel heard [...] I did turn to alternative therapies: Chiropractor, massage, rehydration drink and the prescription medication my midwife (Strong Midwives) prescribed. It has made the most impact and most importantly it is where I felt the most heard, seen, and considered as a whole person. Thank you again.

Dr. Gift is the best Dr. I have ever had. She is thorough, kind, medically competent, truly cares and asks a lot of questions to ensure she has a clear understanding. She references previous notes and tests results during our visits and will then make a decision on the best path forward once she has the full picture of my overall health. I truly trust her and I plan on having her as my primary care as long as she and I are both around.

Dr Laura Gift is my primary care physician and in my opinion she is the best. She is always prompt, respectful and attentive. On the rare occasion I have had to wait she always apologizes, recognizing that my time is valuable too. From my experience with doctors this is rare. She is that way in all of my interactions with her. She listens to my concerns, answers my questions and explains. I feel respected by her and that is important and vital to the patient - doctor relationship.

She is very available, and for this visit, I had tested positive for covid, and she was able to see me by telemedicine within 4 hours of my calling the office to request an appointment. And thus I was able to get the antiviral Paxlovid within the 5 days of symptoms

Dr. Gift is number one in my book! Sorry I can't remember all the staff at the desk that spoke with me on the phone so many times when I was so sick in September. I had many questions during the peak of the pandemic and they always took time for me in spite of how incredibly busy they were. Also I recently had P.T. With Sean Kelly. He is extraordinary. Very smart honest compassionate and encouraging.
