While having my Physical with Dr. Brockway, I pointed out that I had contacted Poison Ivy, just prior-to my visit. He concurred with my diagnosis and prescribed a topical ointment(Clobetasol Propionate cream). It seems to be clearing up nicely.

[...] I have been going to this medical practice for decades and I am nearly always seen within 15 mins of my appointment time, however on this occasion it was somewhat more than that (I don't know how much more). I imagine the appointments are structured as though life is very predictable - - it isn't, and that is okay as far as I am concerned. [...] the Intake nurse Linda and Dr. Brockway each gave me their full attention and care when we had our time together. Also, as Linda was leaving the room she indicated that Dr. Brockway might be a little late but that he would be there.

I think Dr. Matthew Brockway is an excellent doctor - listens well, is respectful, takes his time with patient, answers questions and always looks into anything brought up if he is not familiar with some procedure or possible treatment. Trish has been a nurse in this office for many years, She is by far the best nurse there - friendly, helpful, respectful. She should get some kind of special recognition.

Dr. Brockway and his entire staff are wonderful! I have a lot of anxiety leaving my home to go anywhere, but I have been made to feel such ease at this office that I have no problem getting to my visits. This might not sound like much, but it actually says a lot! I am completely confident in the quality of care that I receive and that Dr. Brockway and staff take the time to listen and understand what I try to say.

Check-in staff (very respectful and efficient), Intake nurse, Linda (shows genuine interest in patient and is keenly aware when taking vitals), Dr. Matthew Brockway (superb in all respects), Check out, Patricia (also respectful and is keenly aware of process and makes sure patient is clear on details of future appointments).

Dr. Brockway, Linda, Pat, and the welcoming receptionist (whose name I cannot recall) are all excellent. I see these same four every time I go to that office and they are all always friendly, polite and efficient. I am impressed with Dr. Brockway's extensive knowledge. He is a keen diagnostician and I appreciate that he never rushes me. I am not one to call the office with every question I have, but I keep a running list of questions & concerns to review at my appointments. Dr. Brockway patiently goes through my list with me and shares practical medical advice. He and his team are an asset to URMC.
