Dr. Curran is very proactive and stays well informed about developments in his field and how those affect decision making in collaboration with his patient. He is compassionate, engaging, has decades of expertise, he Is also efficient and energetic and yet Is relaxed, attentive and completely without arrogance. I've been very fortunate to be in his care over the years I've needed to see him.

He is up-to-date on the science of his field and he is excellent in explaining all issues of a condition, including any difficult aspects and terminology of a condition. He has a superb chair-side manner. He listens very carefully and is totally attuned to the reason for the medical visit. He is my favorite doctor. Dr Curran is helping me deal with arrhythmia. Some of the data we're working with suggested I have afib. He hasn't taken any time to explain afib very well or the applicability of various treatments. I've had to research afib online to understand what I have, how bad it might get, what treatments are possible at the different stages. In other words, no education of the patient. He did order a 30-day heart monitor so we have more detailed data to deal with. All this said, I like Dr Curran very much, I trust him, would recommend him to anyone. And he makes me laugh!
