Laine received her BS in Biology from the University at Albany and her BSN from Binghamton University. After being a pediatric staff nurse at Golisano Children's Hospital, she went on to pursue her MS degree. Laine received her BS in Biology from the University at Albany and her BSN from Binghamton University. After being a pediatric staff nurse at Golisano Children's Hospital, she went on to pursue her MS degree. She graduated from University of Rochester School of Nursing with her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner degree in 2014. She has prior experience as a pediatric primary care provider in the greater Rochester community and is part of our pediatric otolaryngology team. Laine leads the Pediatric Tracheostomy and Home Ventilator Program, providing support to ENT and pulmonology, both inpatient and outpatient.

The procedure was explained and then the provider asked us to repeat in our words what we thought the procedure was to make sure we were all on the same page. They were extremely reassuring, but explained the risks.

Laine is amazing, she was patient with our daughter and made sure she was comfortable throughout the visit. She answered all of our questions, did not make us feel rushed and made us feel that she genuinely cared about our daughters wellbeing.
