Diane Lu, M.D. earned her medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine. After receiving her degree, she completed a general surgery internship and a urology residency at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Following her internship and residency, she became a Minimally Invasive Urological Surgery Fellow at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.

Dr. Lu is an Assistant Professor of Urology, as well as a member of the UR Medicine Urology research community, where she focuses on general urology and urologic oncology.

Dr Lu was "technically" proficient- but Very by the book. [...] very little personal concern, minimal eye contact, and seemed reluctant to explain future options. She may be a whiz of a Surgeon- but she gets a D- in bedside manner. [...]
