Prior to joining URMC Plastic Surgery, Morgan worked as a Registered Nurse at Strong Memorial Hospital in the NeuroMedicine Intensive Care Unit for 5 years and as a Nurse Practitioner at Gastroenterology Group of Rochester for 1 year .

Morgan is a member of American Association of Nurse Practitioners and The Nurse Practitioner Association of New York State.
