My visit to Dr. A. Peter was for a second opinion. I am an RN for 45 years. Dr. Peter was very patient, listened to my concern in reference to my wanting a second opinion. Reviewed my records and pathology report as well as my previous doctors notes. Was very receptive to my concerns. Dr. Peter validated my concerns. I will be returning for followup care and highly recommend this physician to anyone. His patience, understanding, kindness and knowledge cannot be overstated.

I needed a incisional hernia operation. I suffer from severe anxiety or phobia in a hospital medical facility. [...] If it had not been for this provider, the office staff, the hospital staff, the anesthesiologist and all around great service. Even from the X-ray people and the EKG nurse I can't give enough. Dr Peter should give a class on bedside manner......he was kind, caring and very professional. I was in and out, all my questions were answered and he made sure I was comfortable before proceeding with the procedure. Honestly, I wish we could clone Dr. Peter, he is that good.

Dr. Peter, in addition to being a wonderful surgeon, is also a caring, concerned person. I first met him in August in [...] while waiting over a week for a transfer. Although he was not my doctor, he met with me to explain what was going on. He spent over a half hour with me on a Saturday while I was in the hospital and having a bad day mentally. By the time we got through with meeting, I understood what was going on and was in a calm place. His help that day was invaluable. I was extremely lucky that Dr. Peter could also do my gall bladder surgery. Through it all, he has spent the time required to answer all of my questions. A wonderful doctor with a tremendous bed side personality. I would recommend him to anyone needing the types of surgery that he can provide.

Dr. Peter put me at ease from the time he walked in the door... I liked the fact that he shook my hand and looked me in the eye upon entering.... This was my first visit with him. I felt very much at ease and comfortable... Not at all worried about the procedure, but rather that I was wasting his valuable time. He made me feel like I was the only patient he was seeing.... I am happy to have been referred to him and have already recommended him to others....
