It was refreshing to meet with a provider who listened and did not rush through the appointment. First time I met Dr. Walker [...] Dr. Walker introduced herself, had clearly reviewed my history, asked pertinent questions, took my concerns seriously and shared her time and diagnostic/thinking process - the entire visit was impressive. I left feeling listened to, and ready to take the medication she ordered for me. I'm presently feeling much better. (and wish Dr. Walker were my primary)!

Dr. Walker worked very patiently to remedy the problem (a tiny but painful piece of glass embedded in my heel) that had brought me limping into the office. It proved rather difficult to locate and extract, because it was so small, and she kept at it, with considerable finesse and gentleness, until she had it out.

Time management and preparation. I appreciate Dr. Walker, she is very nice and highly personable, however on this visit she was rushed, and seemed distracted and detached from me and my health care. I realize it's hard when I only see her annually, but I do expect her to review my file and have an in-depth conversation with me about my health at least for 15-20min. My appointment was quick, disorganized, our conversation was scattered, and overall it made me feel unimportant.

I felt like my physical was more about the doctor checking off all the boxes required than about me and my health and getting to know what's happening with me. A diagnosis I had since my last appt didn't seem of much interest to the Dr. She was very nice and professional. Sleep, diet, supplements and exercise are the best ways to keep our bodies healthy but doctors don't seem to care very much about those things.
