I was seen for migraine or yet a mini stroke. We talked about the CT scan to rule out stroke before settling on it being a migraine. Upon receiving my Chart results, I reached out to Dr. Hank and he got back to me regarding the future steps for migraine treatment. I have a follow up visit at the end of June to access my migraine treatment.

Yes, when I called for an appointment and I wanted to be seen immediately, there were no openings at all with Hank. But I told the Secretary, Rene I needed to be seen that day because I was having siatic pain. She put me on hold and spoke to Hank and Hank squeezed me in that day. I am thankful Hank helped me out.

Hank Wengender, PA is the absolute best!! He has been at this practice forever - thank goodness! - and I actually prefer seeing him over any of the MD's. Hank has exemplary attention to important details, is a GREAT listener and seems to genuinely CARE for the patients. He puts two and two together better than the MD's and therefore is able to actually solve health care concerns. He is basically the number 1 reason why I still go to this group- nothing against any one of them but in comparison I feel very confident with Hank's insight and care.

I had question about ability to be an organ donor with a past malignant melanoma history. I knew that I cannot donate blood but was uncertain about organ donation. While the provider did not know the answer off the top of his head, he said let us find out together. He went onto his laptop for an answer and found out that I cannot participate in organ donation with the prior melanoma history.

Upon Dr. Algase's retirement, I sought specific permission to have Hank as my primary doctor because of his patience and willingness to take on a challenge. He had past experience in seeing me during Dr. Algase's unavailability.
