Dr. Kirby is particularly interested in providing care for children with developmental disabilities in both primary care and subspecialty settings. Her work focuses on bridging the primary/specialty care interface through integrating care models and implementing quality improvement methods to support families in system navigation and by reducing barriers. She also partners with Monroe County’s Early Intervention program in efforts to improve access to services. Dr. Kirby will see patients in the GCH Pediatric Practice clinic in AC6 and the DBP clinic at East River Road, serve as QI lead for the DBP division, and continue her research.
