I am deeply committed to furthering the health of children through patient consultation, organized advocacy, clinical research, quality improvement, and a dedication to lifelong education. Clinically, my aim is to care for each patient and their family from a holistic perspective, incorporating evidence-based medicine with patient and family values into care plans. I approach treatment from a biopsychosocial perspective and view health as inclusive of all aspects of a patient’s life, including nutrition and behavioral health. I view myself as a partner with families to advocate for and achieve optimal health outcomes and quality of life.

Dr. Sandell is terrific! She always touches base with me regarding my son at the same time respecting his wishes and firmly understanding him and how a 16 yr old feels. He had a negative experience prior to us finding Dr. Sandell and she is always sensitive to that! She is a wonderful doctor and thankful we found her.
