Vincent DeRienzo is a certified physician assistant practicing in critical care medicine in Rochester, NY. He serves as co-director for the post-graduate training program for advanced practice providers (APP) in critical care medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center. His interests include critical care medicine, APP education, and scientific literacy given his previous career in clinical research. He has presented at several national meetings and is involved at the regional, state, and national level holding several committee appointments for organizations such as the Association of Pulmonary Advanced Practice Providers and the American College of CHEST Physicians. Institutionally, he is the chair for an APP journal and publishing club and delights in seeing his colleagues excel.
