experience from working in private practice, inner city clinics

sharing empathy and compassion, that he feels quality care is
ultimately provided.

Dr. Montalbo is exceptional! He is such a wealth of information and he is all about treating me without writing a prescription for every little thing (my experience in the past with others). I highly recommend him to every one and only wish he could take new patients. [...] Generally, the doctor should be commended for his extensive experience generally. His follow up however, once I left, the office was remarkably swift, appropriate, and thorough. He did not comprehensively respond in my presence to the concerns and needs that I had, however, I began to receive unsolicited phone calls from collateral medical providers, who indicated that they were calling because of concerns I expressed to the doctor, that required additional referrals. There's a big piece missing, regarding interpersonal acknowledgment, of the services I might need, and to whom he would refer me very specifically. Receiving random phone calls from providers with whom I am not familiar with not very comfortable. And not what I'm accustomed to Regrettably, I expressed those concerns to the follow up staff, with the newly referred providers, which resulted in frustration all around. I am glad that the physician is thorough and I'm glad that he is detailed. I just wish I had a heads up about what he plan to do and with whom . That's the courtesy, and the piece that I am looking for as regards, quality and culturally competent care. Perhaps it's too big thing to expect from this region of New York state? But in my humble opinion, as a college, educated, healthcare, professional, I don't think so. I think it's a list Healthcare should be

[...] There has been no additional contact with the office. Just random referrals, follow up, calls from other providers, and assumptions that appointments are made without patient's input, feedback as regards to location of the practice, and little to no provision for in-depth information about what to expect from any provider, much less, indicating a preference from one over another. It is a relegation of indifference such that I've never experienced in my medical history. The actions completely remove the empowerment from the patient's choice and voice. It was pretty awful to be fair. And continues to be doubtfully Holistic.

Dr Montalbo, while super energetic and outward friendly, has a very condescending tone about him. He cares about my health, but if I don't listen to everything he says, he appeared agitated. He talks very fast and spoke over me many times. When I tried to share something he didn't agree with, he acted annoyed. I feel that he is just very quick to get me in and out of the office, who is a big talker, just to get onto the next person. There's only one way to put it. Fake. I thought things were going well until he started to act condescending when it came to medical information that I had researched and wanted to run by him. If it was convenient, I probably would switch providers. Sorry but it's the truth.

This was an initial patient intake visit as a new patient. The level of service at the Spencerport location was beyond excellent. The staffs attitude and demeanor was genuinely happy to be there in their job to help the patient as needed. The receptionist, Doctor Montalbo and the "check out" Lady we all very nice and polite. The nurse who did my vitals was very efficient and polite too.
