Dr. Collins cares for patients with congenital and acquired forms of heart disease in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Clinical interests include single ventricle physiology and interstage mortality, aortopathy, and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. He recognizes the importance of counseling and communication to optimize clinical outcomes and incorporate family and patient values.

He has additional interest in education at both the undergraduate medical education level, serving as Director of the Pediatric Cardiology Clerkship, as well as for residents and fellows in training.
