I earned my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA. I completed my family medicine residency at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia. NY.

Philosophy
The medical field can feel like a second language. I aim to translate this information so every patient can understand their health, empowering them to make the best medical decisions for themselves. I look forward to being an advocate for my patients while helping them achieve their health goals. I believe in treating the whole person, not just their symptoms.

Special Interests
My special interested include treating patients of all ages, relieving muscle pain, and improving mobility.

Outside of work, I enjoy cheering on the Buffalo Bills and Rochester Red Wings with my family. I also enjoy attending local festivals,

My regular practitioner was not available so I saw a physician who was available. She did not know my history, but was able to make me feel comfortable and diagnose the issue. I've been suffering with chronic issues for many years and she may have solved it in one visit. I was amazed with her knowledge, attention to detail and sympathy for my situation. Thought about seeing if I could switch to her, but I also love my regular NP that I see.

This is one of the BEST med facilities I have ever been in, and Dr. Austin was a gift from the Universe! It is so hard for older women, let alone Lesbians, to feel comfortable and truly respected by their primary care doctors. Dr. Austin listened. Did not rush through our initial appointment.Did not talk down to me and respected my desire to work as a team re my ongoing healthcare .
