Gynecologic oncology is a unique field that focuses on a patient-tailored approach to the diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship of women with gynecologic cancers. It is a privilege to serve not only my patients, but to advocate for those who care for them. I am happy to be part of a team that provides multi-disciplinary care, engages in research that further innovations in the field, and educates the next generation of physicians.

The care provider gave me options about my care and suggested options but did not give me his personal opinion about what he would do. Even though I know it would ultimately be my decision, his opinion mattered to me because he is an educated Provider and communicator.
