EDUCATION AND TRAINING
I have been a Family Physician for 20 years, starting with a residency and Chief Resident role at Bay Regional Medical Center. I earned my Doctorate from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and have experience working with diverse communities, including Latino, migrant, refugee, inner-city, LGBTQIA+, and group home populations, along with years of research and volunteer work.

PHILOSOPHY
I view medicine through the lens of how individuals are affected by the world around them. I value the diversity of humanity and believe in providing high-quality, personalized care by understanding each patient’s medical needs, personal philosophy, experiences, family, spirituality, and culture.

SPECIAL INTERESTS
I’m committed to helping each of my patients to the
best of my ability, whether it's referring patients to the correct specialist, or addressing complex issues like aging, sexuality, addiction, and emotional health. My goal is to do this for each patient through empathy, patience, persistence, and staying up-to-date on the best evidence-based medical care.

PERSONAL INTERESTS
I enjoy nurturing my family, pets, and plants and find joy in activities like reading, singing, hiking, and exploring cultural experiences. I also have a passion for yoga, cooking, and appreciating nature.

We are now putting this pertinent information at your fingertips by displaying star ratings for our providers along with anonymous patient comments on our website. This will help you make better-informed choices about how and with whom you seek care. Click here to learn more about the surveys used to generate this vital information.
