Dr. Nguyen is a cerebrovascular neurosurgeon who offers both traditional open microsurgical techniques and cutting-edge endovascular procedures. He is committed to a patient-centered, individualized approach to care, believing that each patient's unique circumstances deserve tailored treatment plans.

Dr. Nguyen's clinical interests span a wide range of cerebrovascular conditions, including complex brain aneurysms, Moyamoya disease, carotid and intracranial atherosclerotic disease, and various vascular malformations. He utilizes comprehensive, innovative approaches to treat these challenging conditions.

With a particular focus on microsurgical techniques, Dr. Nguyen performs cerebrovascular bypass procedures and other revascularization techniques. His interests in endovascular neurosurgery include clinical trials and device innovation. His broad experience extends to general neurosurgery, including spine surgery, skull base microsurgery, brain tumor removal, and trauma.

Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Nguyen is passionate about resident education and surgical video editing and review, contributing to the next generation of neurosurgeons.

Dr. Nguyen has interests in both microsurgical and endovascular research within the field of cerebrovascular neurosurgery. His work focuses on advancing surgical techniques and improving patient outcomes through rigorous clinical studies. Dr. Nguyen's research aims to bridge the gap between cutting-edge neurosurgical procedures and evidence-based clinical practice. His current research interests include: revascularization techniques for the treatment of complex cerebral aneurysms, Moyamoya disease, atherosclerotic disease, and spinal ischemia after endovascular repair of complex aortic aneurysms.
