Yfat Kadan, MD, has been named assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She will see patients at Lattimore Medical Center as well as Highland Hospital. Most recently, she served as a faculty member in the Department of Gynecologic Oncology at Chaim Sheba Medical Center at Tel Aviv University in Israel. She has also worked as a clinical lecturer at Rappaport Faculty of Medicine at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology and as a clinical instructor at Sackler School of Medicine at Tel-Aviv University in Israel. She completed her fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the Women & Infants Hospital of Rhode Island and trained in radical gynecologic oncologic surgeries with the Metropolitan Gynecologic Oncologic team in Budapest, Hungary. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at HaEmek Medical Center and earned her medical degree from Ben-Gurion University (of the Negev), Beer-Sheva, Israel. She has many years of experience teaching medical students and residents and has taught post-graduate and professional courses.
