I chose to obtain additional training in minimally invasive surgical
techniques to be able to offer my patients smaller incisions that generally
lead to less pain, shorter hospital stays, and fewer complications. During
my training, I was able to focus on Metabolic and Bariatric surgical
procedures for the treatment of Obesity. I am passionate about the
surgical treatment of obesity because it is one of the only areas of surgery
that can be preventative – we can not only treat a patient’s current medical conditions associated with obesity, but prevent them from developing
additional, or more severe conditions in the future.

I strive to create a partnership with my patients where I can inform, advise,
and support them as they make decisions about their health in a
welcoming environment. I hope my patients feel empowered by the
individualized care they will receive from me and that this propels them
toward a happy and healthy future.
