Dr. Janice Lau graduated from Cornell University and the University of Pennsylvania before attending medical school at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She then completed her residency training in family medicine at the University of Rochester. As a family physician, she enjoys taking care of the whole family, including newborns, children, adolescents, and adults. Her areas of professional interests in primary care include medical education, women’s health, and office-based procedures, including joint injections, dermatological procedures, biopsies, and placements of long-acting reversible contraception options (e.g. IUDs, Nexplanon implants).
