I had been in the Strong Hospital Emergency Department for about 9 hours the prior day for pain in my left arm and chest. Before I could telephone the provider's office, they telephoned me with a request to see me that day as they had a cancellation. I immediately took that appointment. [...] The fact that Dr. Peracchia contacted me concerning my nine hours in the Strong Memorial Hospital Emergency Department, before I even had a chance to contact her shows an incredible degree of patient care and service. Thankfully Carla Peracchia was able to get me in for an appointment after going to Strong West for an ED visit that was less than helpful. Dr Peracchia ordered a steroid taper and was able to get me in for an appointment within two days of the ED visit. She ordered a STAT MRI and referred me to the pain clinic with the necessary information to schedule an appointment with the pain clinic. Dr Peracchia always goes above and beyond for her patients to make sure they are well cared for.
