Dr. Johnson has done a WONDERFUL job of transitioning my care in the wake of Dr. Guzman's retirement. He took ample time to get to know me & my medical history. He listens with care & compassion He offers really helpful perspective and insights regarding WHY his diagnoses are what they are for someone of my age and activity levels, and he grounds his explanations in research that is understandable to a layperson. He's an active & caring listener.

This appointment was paramount for me because I wanted my dr's input. My 1 1/4 hr drive took me 1 1/2 hr. I called ahead to inform the office I was running late. Upon arrival I was given immediate attention, told my call re late arrival had been received and that Dr. Johnson would see me once I got there. I was so thankful because I was desperate for his input. I need resolution for my ongoing health situation!

During the visit I was told to have some blood testing done, which I did. The results came promptly, but to this day I do not know what they mean. I am not familiar with test acronyms, medical terminology and related statistical numbers.

Dr. W. Johnson is a wonderful health provider as are the others in the office. Two members of my family have asked to become his patients.

Dr. Wallace Johnson - this was a very special visit. I came out to him and Dianne R in the office as transgender, and received a warm, welcoming, professional and thoughtful response. Dr Johnson outlined a plan for next steps that reflected a good bit of work in contacting appropriate individuals, etc. Very pleased with this experience!

After seeing Dr Johnson for a few minutes and explaining my visit, he sent me downstairs for bloodwork and an X-ray. He told me to come back up to his office after and tell the front desk that he told me to come back. When I came back I was taken to another exam room fairly quickly. After waiting for over an hour with no one seeing me, I went to the desk and advised that I had been waiting. One of the staff immediately went to get to Dr Johnson. He looked at my X-rays, but bloodwork results I don't think we're back. In what seemed like a rushed consultation, he advised they would contact me when results were back and we would develop a treatment plan. I am not sure where the breakdown was on my coming back up to the office for the follow up.
