As a physician interested in preventative medicine and adolescent health care, Dr. Przystal believes that her job as a physician is to provide an environment for patients where they can comfortably and confidently share their concerns regarding all aspects that encompass their health. She continues to familiarize herself with the latest advances in medicine so she can work in partnership with her patients to make the right choices.
Dr. Przystal is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. She is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is also on the faculty of the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.

I felt that Dr. P did a thorough evaluation of my symptoms, which were positive for Covid [...]! I never felt that she was rushed or that the holiday affected the time that she spent with me, which included answering my questions about the low-dose antiviral that was being prescribed and the possibility of drug interactions. I have been a patient of this practice for almost 20 years and as a former healthcare, professional myself, cannot speak highly enough about it.

She always takes my concerned very seriously even if they are sometimes beyond that of a normal person due to some recent medical problems that lead to greater than normal concern about everything. She shares in my level of concern. She answered my questions in the office, told me to call anytime over the weekend since she was the one on call, she quickly answered my questions via MyChart, she answered my questions when I called over the weekend and she even called once more to follow up and check on her.

Dr. Catherine Przystal reviewed all medication and imaging as well as my personal report of how I was feeling. She listens carefully and offers informed and experienced information and guidance. I feel we cover all items thoroughly. I leave relieved and equipped with good healthcare practices. I could not ask for more from a provider - she is a shining star!!!

Ashley will take a few minutes to listen and truly understands her patients and helps any way she can. Calls back by end of day with a pleasant attitude in person or by phone. Vicky, is down to earth and takes time to get to know the patients even on a small personal scale and she goes above and beyond to get things done even if your not sure, she helps you figure it out. I am proud to have them on my medical team !!

I can't say anything bad about my experience at Caledonia Family Medical. I do know that appointments are difficult to get. I often go to urgent care for injuries when Dr. P is not available. She follows up with me after those visits outside of her care.
