First as a bedside nurse and then as a nurse practitioner for the stroke team. She provide care for stroke patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. She provide...
Dawn has worked at the University of Rochester since 1991. She has worked in the neurology department on and off for 9 years. First as a bedside nurse and then as a nurse practitioner for the stroke team. She provide care for stroke patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. She provides stroke education, management along with focusing on secondary stroke prevention. She also provides phone management to address patient's questions and concerns.

Dawn received her undergraduate degree (BSN) from SUNY Brockport in 1987. She received her master degree in the acute care nurse practitioner program in 1999 at the University of Rochester. She has a faculty appointment at the U of R school of nursing.
